If at first I worked exclusively “au plain air”, I now alternate with working in my studio about 50% of the time. I maintain the habit of painting outside in order not to loose the sensibility for color, the only way to obtain a harmony of shades. On the other hand within the studio I recreate traditional themes in different tones, which make one think of nocturnals.
