When I was invited by the Flagstaff Art Centre of Arizona in 1973 as teacher of “au plain air”, the experience was extremely enriching for me; but when that period was over I realized my incapacity as a painting instructor.
The great majority of my pupils' work seemed to have been done by their teacher. I did not seem to discover the different and personal capacity of each one of them.>>>
